DHBC Kids Church

DHBC Kids partners with parents to see children trust Christ for salvation, walk in obedience, and grow in their love of the Gospel.

Kids will stay with their parents in the service for the first portion, before being dismissed to their classes.

HELP YOURSELVES TO PEW PALS CONTAINING VARIOUS ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS AT THE BACK OF THE SANCTUARY.

Kids' Baptism Class

Periodically we hold a baptism class for elementary - aged kids and their parents. We talk about the Gospel, and what baptism is, then give parents tools to continue the conversation at home. Children who are interested in baptism and have taken the class will be interviewed to determine their understanding of their salvation, the Gospel and baptism. Click here to sign up for the next class.

Kids check in

All kids must be checked in at the Kids corner in the main foyer, and picked up immediately following the service.

Our curriculum starts with Homefront weekly, a preaching tool that helps your family intentionally spend time in the Word before you come to church on Sunday. You, the parent, will be the first one to tell your child about the Bible story he or she will hear at church. This means you are spiritually leading your child and the church is coming alongside you in support.

Most people don't expect you to understand what we're going to tell you in this book. And even if you understand, they don't expect you to care. And even if you care, they don't expect you to do anything about it. And even if you do something about it, they don't expect it to last. We do. – Alex and Brett
