Christianity Explored is a course designed for anyone who would like to investigate the claims of Jesus Christ. Once a week, for 7 weeks, attendees gather for an engaging video and lively discussion. Topics are discussed in an environment where all backgrounds, cultures and beliefs are respected. No previous knowledge is assumed of those who come.

Christianity Explored helps people answer three questions that cut to the heart of Christianity:

Who is Jesus?

Why did he come?

What does he demand of those who want to follow him?

By focusing on Mark’s gospel, Christianity Explored aims to return people to the magnetic yet challenging gospel of Jesus Christ. As Mark is read, taught and discussed, those on the course begin to grasp the unimaginable grace of God, as he sends his only Son to die on a cross, taking the punishment we deserve, forsaken so that we might never be. The course presents this gospel in all its fullness so that God may be glimpsed in all his greatness.

The course consists of a seven-week program as follows:

• Week 1: Introduction
• Week 2: Jesus – Who Was He?
• Week 3: Jesus – Why Did He Come?
• Week 4: Jesus – His Death
• Week 5: What is Grace?
• Week 6: Jesus – His Resurrection
• Week 7: What is a Christian?
