Women @ 2 is a monthly forum for women of all ages within the DHBC church family to meet together. We almost always meet on the last Sunday of the month from 2 – 4 pm in a local home.

Our purpose is to develop spiritual friendships, that is, help each other to know and love God more by being authentic with each other. To this end, we have guided conversations, prayer times, testimonials, discussions and/or guest speakers on topics relevant to our everyday Christian lives. These topics are sometimes initiated by women in the group, sometimes initiated by our Pastors’ sermon topics. We also grow together through service to the DHBC community and beyond: for example, we hold bridal and baby showers to honor the women in our church who are celebrating these significant times in their lives; we have at least one annual outreach event within our community (last year was ‘Artists in our Midst’); we decorate the church for Advent season and have an annual Christmas service project; we help facilitate the partnership between our church members and the missionaries whom DHBC supports.

Women @ 2 is ‘guided’ by a team of six but we frequently solicit the ideas and feedback of the women who join the email directory of Women @ 2. We also have a new sub-team which has been assigned the planning of the many ‘showers’ to be held during this year! There are many ways to participate and get involved and we always welcome new faces and suggestions!
