The Dunbar Serving Ministry (DSM) exists to bless the community of Dunbar Heights through acts of Christian love and service.  Our mission is to connect the need of our community with volunteers who are able to joyfully meet such requests.  Our vision is to create a culture at DHBC marked by sacrificial love and service.

We provide volunteers for the following services:

Babysitting

We will try to provide babysitters from among our church members — free of charge! Please give us as much notice as you can and we will be happy to help.

Warm Meals

For those who are hospitalized or going through a difficult season, we want to serve you by providing warm, home-cooked meals for you and your family during your time of need.

Carpooling

Need a ride to and from church on Sundays?  Need a ride to the supermarket or drugstore?  We will help you arrange a ride with a fellow church member.

Chores

If you could use some physical labour, don’t be shy to ask for help. We want to help you rake leaves, shovel snow, move to a new place, etc.

Moving

Moving to a new residence?  Don’t do it alone.  Let our team of volunteers help you move that couch and dining table.
